requirements |
|
|
-male
or female, in reasonable physical health,
should be able to cover 30' while a
player runs 60'. Previous
ball
experience a definite plus, but not a
requirement. -should have decent eyesight, even though many players, coaches, and spectators consider our vision somewhat fuzzy and limited. -positive attitude, with a willingness to observe and learn from others, and to benefit from your own screw-ups. -mature individual, minimum 18yrs of age to deal with sometimes overbearing players. |

-dark navy blue cap, compulsory on bases.
(never
worn backwards) -powder blue shirt, either mesh or Rapier style. -dark navy blue pants, no pleats. -black rubber soled shoes, black or navy blue socks. (the cost of purchasing everything at once is often overwhelming for rookie umpires. It is recommended that officials gradually accumulate the necessary equipment.) |

of the different leagues that we
